Everyone is different. This is why a personal trainer takes your individual requirements into consideration and creates a training environment and programme that correspond exactly to your needs.
I am here to give you helpful advice and help you achieve exactly what you want.
Not everyone likes to train alone. Sometimes it is helpful to have a friend with you to cheer each other on. My coaching methods will support you and your horse to achieve your goals
in your way and in your own time.
P (Plans) R (Reality) G (Goals)- this is a comprehensive Personal Programme, starting out with an individual assessment and discussion, followed by a written report setting out observations and a forward plan.
This plan is for anyone, at any level, who would like to get the best out of themselves and their horse.
Available as:
Face to Face Sessions

On the Hoof Distance Training has run demonstrations at major events (FEI European Championships), clinics for pony clubs, riding clubs and friends just getting together, talks at colleges, awards events, rehabilitation programmes and much, much more..!
Specialists in Equine Rehabilitation
We are able to help put together a plan for, and guide you through, the rehablititation of both you and your horse. We understand how hard it is to get it "just right" when coming back to work after sickness and/or injury. We have worked with many clients, their vets and whole team to successfully bring horses and riders back to top performance level.
Rehabilitation is a 'Team Sport' - it helps to have On The Hoof DT in your corner!
"Highly recommend On The Hoof DT. We love our training sessions with Maggie Pattinson. I recently had to bring my horse back into work after 9 months off. Maggie guided us how best to do this, to reach our peak fitness again. A wealth of knowledge and experience, providing an excellent training program that kept us focused and we enjoyed every minute. Now to set the next goals with On The Hoof DT."

If you are entered for the Mongol Derby or considering it (www.mongolderby.com for anyone who doesn't know what this is!) you might want to just chat it through with the Derby Official Trainer and Race Referee Maggie Pattinson.
Maggie has been involved with the Mongol Derby since it began in 2009 and works closely with the organisers of the race each year. As part of your Derby entry you'll have online access and receive regular Training Tips from Maggie - for the added "extra" you might want to consider a Derby Training Programme written for you by someone who understands the race from the inside out.
